Job Summary
We are looking for qualified and patient-focused Staff Nurses to support PET-CT imaging services. The role involves patient preparation, clinical monitoring, radiation safety adherence, and coordination with nuclear medicine and radiology teams to ensure safe and accurate diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Preparation & Care:
Prepare patients for PET-CT procedures, including history verification and pre-scan instructions.
Establish IV access and assist in radiotracer administration under medical supervision.
Monitor patient vitals and comfort before, during, and after the scan.
Educate patients and attendants about procedure steps and post-scan precautions.
PET-CT Unit Support:
Assist nuclear medicine physicians and technologists during PET-CT workflows.
Maintain radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
Ensure proper patient positioning and compliance with scan requirements.
Documentation & Coordination:
Maintain accurate nursing notes, consent forms, and procedure records.
Coordinate with oncology, radiology, pharmacy, and ward teams.
Follow hospital SOPs, NABH, and AERB guidelines strictly.
Qualifications & Experience
GNM / B.Sc Nursing with valid nursing council registration.
1–3 years of experience in PET-CT, Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, or Oncology preferred.
Freshers with relevant training and interest in nuclear medicine may be considered.

Knowledge of radiation safety principles.
Strong patient care and observation skills.
Clear communication and patient counseling abilities.
Ability to work in a technology-driven clinical environment.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
