Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head – Finance to lead the financial operations of our healthcare institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving financial systems, and providing strategic financial leadership to support the organization’s long-term goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions to support organizational objectives.

  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to finance, taxation, and accounting practices.

  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems to safeguard financial assets.

  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk strategies for optimal utilization of resources.

  • Provide financial insights, recommendations, and performance reports to the executive leadership team and board of directors.

  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

  • Monitor revenue cycle performance and collaborate with other departments to improve financial outcomes.

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.

  • Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and professional development.


Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA in Finance or equivalent professional qualification.

  • Minimum 8–12 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and financial leadership roles, preferably in healthcare or large service organizations.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, audit practices, and tax compliance.

  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.

  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office applications.
