Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Data Entry / Physician Assistant to support doctors and clinical teams by maintaining accurate patient records, assisting in documentation, and ensuring smooth coordination during consultations and procedures. The role combines medical data entry with basic clinical assistance to enhance patient care efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Documentation:
Enter and update patient details, clinical notes, investigation reports, and treatment records accurately in the hospital system.
Maintain OPD, IPD, and procedure-related documentation as per hospital protocols.
Ensure completeness and correctness of medical records and reports.
Physician Assistance:
Assist doctors during OPD consultations and ward rounds.
Prepare patient files, reports, and investigation results for doctor review.
Support doctors during minor procedures as required.
Coordinate with nursing, diagnostics, and billing teams for smooth patient flow.
Coordination & Compliance:
Maintain confidentiality of patient data and medical information.
Follow hospital policies, NABH guidelines, and documentation standards.
Assist in audit-related data preparation when required.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate or Diploma in Medical Records / Health Sciences / Life Sciences / relevant field.
1–3 years of experience in hospital data entry or physician assistant role preferred.
Knowledge of hospital information systems (HIS/EMR) is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Good typing speed with high accuracy.
Basic medical terminology knowledge.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends if required.
