Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and patient-focused Chemo / Wards Staff to assist in chemotherapy units and inpatient wards. The role involves supporting doctors and nursing teams in delivering safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care, particularly for oncology and long-term treatment patients.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Assistance:
Assist nurses and doctors in chemotherapy administration and ward procedures.
Support patients during treatment, mobility, and daily care activities.
Monitor patient comfort and report any discomfort or changes to the nursing team.
Ward & Chemo Unit Support:
Prepare chemotherapy and ward areas as per safety and hygiene protocols.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Help in patient shifting, admissions, and discharges within wards.
Coordination & Documentation:
Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, and support departments for smooth operations.
Assist in maintaining basic treatment records and checklists as required.
Follow hospital SOPs, NABH standards, and oncology safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
GNM / ANM / Nursing Assistant / relevant healthcare qualification preferred.
1–3 years of experience in chemotherapy units, oncology wards, or hospital wards is an advantage.
Freshers with relevant training may also be considered.
